Vancouver Adventure

So our trip to Vancouver didn't turn out exactly like we planned...It ended up being blizzard-like conditions near the border...just after the border about two miles down... We did a 360 in the road, looked straight into a ditch and then coasted down the same ditch..Some good samaritans adopted us for the five hours it took for the tow truck..We arrived at our hotel at midnight, to be awaken at 7:00am by construction...We were lucky though, the car suffered minor damage and we were able to finish out the trip in safety..It will just be one to remember..I'm just glad we didn't have the kids with us....

    CRAZY!! This is definitely a trip to remember! Given the beautiful weather we had last week, who would have guessed that today you would have encountered such rotten conditions. Glad you made it back safely!

    Holy Canoli!! I'm glad you guys are OK!I've done that on icy roads once and it is NOT fun!
