Off we go for our summer vacation....Three days on the road till Midway,Utah..our destination....The first night was to Yakima..grandma and grandpa's...It's always fun and relaxing...and it's a good thing we did stay the night there..The next morning Peter checked the radiator fluid in the car and it was almost empty...After filling it with a new bottle we thought we were ready to start the long haul..no...There was a leak somewhere in the engine...Ed and Peter took it to the mechanic and quite a bit of money later had it fixed...Now we were ready just 4 hours behind...We rolled into Baker City, Or at 9:00pm..just in time for bed....The next day we did the Boise Zoo and then spent the night in Burley,Idaho with Peter's Great Uncle and Aunt..they were great...very nice and funny...

The engine troubles suck, but at least you were with family and it got resolved fairly quickly. I love vacation! Wish we could do another one. Too bad you aren't cruising out this direction. Maybe next year you can do the Church History Tour. I always have space for you and your family. Enjoy yourselves.
