Alex and Peter tried to enlist in the Navy today..they wouldn't take them..so instead they toured a distroyer and missed out visiting a Canadian mine sweeper..the Canadians thought lunch was important.

Groveland Park/Blue Angels

What a fantastic park..it had plenty of shade, lots of water, and the Blue Angels were flying above...The kids and adults loved it...It also was much cooler than my house..Couldn't ask for more

Some like it hot....

Record breaking day....107 degrees...and they say only 15% of the homes in the Seattle area have air conditioning.We are not one of them..This photo was taken at 7:30pm.....It's hot.....ice cream at every meal....the 80s will feel like winter...

Shakespeare at it's finest

My sister Kristi invited us to a Shakespeare in the Park experience...I am not a fan of Shakespear except Taming of the Shrew, which this happen to be. It was hilarious..they set it in a modern, trailer park atmosphere. We were laughing over the trashy outfits and the interaction with the audience..I wish I had pictures of the play but cameras aren't allowed..It was fabulous....

The kids spent time afterwards with their cousin "Monty"...he had them doing the workout..

New Blog

I added a new blog to the side bar..it's going to host all my crafts so that this blog is centered on the family...I'm turning more and more into a Crafty Mormon...Watch Out!

Wishes Come True

I hinted to Peter on Saturday that while he was at the store..I would love some strawberries...He took the hint and ran with it...I came home to a plate of homemade chocolate dipped Strawberries and a glass of Martinelli. Yummmmmmy......I love surprises..at least the good ones...

Score!

One of Peter's co-worker's wives went into labor...so we inherited tickets to the Mariners Game behind home plate..Score!...it's was an awesome game even though we lost..The best part is that we are still childless and were able to take advantage of that...

Doorbell Etiquette

ok...I finally got sick of the ten doorbell rings a day..always when Nash is trying to nap...hopefully this will be a reminder..If not at least it looks good...Of course I had to stick to the french theme of the entrance...

Fall in the Summer

The kids are gone this week which just leaves Nash (a boy who looks out for me) to hang out with me..The weather has gone down hill..It was in the high 80's and now it's 60 degrees out..so off to feed the ducks we go...Nash loves this activity and the ducks don't complain about it either....

Beach for all

one warm day, tons of friends, and perfect location...Can't ask for more...of course didn't enjoy all the dead fish the kids kept finding...told them not to drink the water...
